In this exciting leadership role, you will have the chance to inspire and guide residents on their recovery journey by providing strong leadership to a team of dedicated caseworkers and support staff. You will oversee crucial intake, assessment, and transportation processes, collaborating closely with key partners such as Drug Courts and MERIT to deliver integrated, high-quality support to service residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage intake, assessment, and transportation procedures in partnership with stakeholders like Drug Courts and MERIT.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of caseworkers and support staff.
- Drive the execution of the Strategic Plan and ensure smooth rostering and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the delivery of evidence-based AOD programs, fostering strengths-based, recovery-focused care.
- Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Oversee property management, including the swimming pool, gym, and flood mitigation systems.
- Support staff development through supervision, training, and professional growth opportunities.
- A current, unrestricted NSW driver’s license.
- TAFE Cert IV or tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Welfare, or a related discipline.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and managing teams in AOD or mental health environments.
- Strong background in case management, client assessments, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Familiarity with WHS, child protection laws, and local community resources.
- Confidence and care in navigating complex and challenging situations.
