South Australia State Manager - Nursing Workforce

We're now seeking an experienced and commercially minded leader to join our Nursing Workforce division as State Manager – South Australia.

This is more than an operational leadership role. It's an opportunity to lead a critical part of our business, influence strategy, strengthen client partnerships and drive sustainable growth across the South Australian market.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer – Nursing Workforce, you'll play a key role in leading our state operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, developing high-performing teams and identifying opportunities to expand our impact.

What You'll Be Doing
Leadership & Team Performance You'll inspire and develop a team responsible for workforce allocations, bookings and recruitment, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading, coaching and developing team members
  • Driving performance against operational KPIs
  • Building capability and succession within the team
  • Creating an engaged and positive team culture aligned to Lumia Care values
Client Partnerships
You'll be the face of Lumia Care across South Australia, building trusted relationships and ensuring clients receive outstanding service.
This includes:
  • Managing strategic client relationships
  • Responding proactively to client needs and feedback
  • Ensuring service delivery consistently exceeds expectations
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow partnerships
Workforce & Operational Excellence
You'll oversee the end-to-end workforce function, ensuring high standards across recruitment, bookings and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining workforce compliance requirements
  • Supporting best-practice recruitment and onboarding
  • Ensuring workforce availability aligns with client demand
  • Protecting and enhancing Lumia Care's reputation in the market
Growth & Commercial Performance
We're looking for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities and helping a business grow.
You'll:
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and market share
  • Support business development activities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver sustainable growth
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational decision-making
About You You are a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing people leadership, client engagement and commercial outcomes.
You may come from workforce solutions, healthcare, aged care, disability services, labour hire or another service-driven environment where operational excellence and customer relationships are critical.
