Be Recruitment is partnering with a well-established community mental health provider seeking an experienced Senior Clinician to join a multidisciplinary team supporting adults experiencing complex mental health challenges.
This is a community-based role working with adults aged 18 years and over across Northern Sydney. You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, comprehensive assessments, care coordination and recovery-focused support within a collaborative and highly supportive clinical environment.
The Role
Reporting into an experienced clinical leadership team, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based psychological and therapeutic interventions to adults experiencing mental health concerns
- Undertake comprehensive psychosocial assessments, risk assessments and mental state examinations
- Develop and review treatment plans in partnership with clients and referring stakeholders
- Manage a varied caseload while maintaining high-quality clinical documentation
- Provide care coordination and facilitate access to appropriate supports and services
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and reflective practice
- Work collaboratively with GPs, psychiatrists, allied health professionals and community services
- Support clients to achieve meaningful recovery outcomes and transition successfully from the service when appropriate
We are interested in speaking with clinicians who bring:
- Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy
- Relevant professional registration or membership (AHPRA or AASW)
- Experience working within adult mental health settings
- Strong skills in risk assessment, mental state examinations and comprehensive psychosocial assessment
- Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, including CBT and other evidence-based approaches
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and clinical reasoning skills
