  • $97 300 - $101 700 + salary packaging + extra leave and EAP access
We are working with a not-for-profit charitable organisation who help women and children escape domestic and family violence and homelessness. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to enhance their brand and increase philanthropic engagement through:
  • Developing a fundraising plan
  • Building relationships with new and existing partners and supporters
  • Implementing engaging and effective digital media strategies
About the role:
  • Create, execute and direct fundraising strategies and plans in line with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, partners and individual supporters, ensuring long term engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate new donor relationships, maintaining regular communication and stewardship.
  • Management and oversight of social media channels and website.
  • Works closely with employees to develop engaging written, video and digital content for the communication channels.
  • Assist with identifying fundraising opportunities and to develop compelling proposals to secure funding from philanthropic foundations, government agencies, and other grant making bodies.
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities for effectiveness.
  • Manage the associated administrative tasks in a thorough and efficient manner, including maintaining donor records and databases.
Requirements for the role:
  • Qualifications in fundraising, communications or related field and/or minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in relationship-based fundraising
  • Ability to design and implement creative fundraising strategies that engage supporters and drive revenue growth
  • In-depth knowledge of digital fundraising and media platforms and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong grant writing, report writing and proposal development skills, with a track record of securing and maintaining funding.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage competing demands and set work priorities to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to feminist philosophy
  • A well-developed understanding of and commitment to ethical fundraising
  • Computer literacy, particularly MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Must be willing to undergo Working with Children and National Police Checks
  • Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit, social purpose sector
  • Understanding of the issues facing women and children escaping domestic and family violence and at risk of homelessness
