An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager / Program Manager to lead & supervise the operational delivery of child, youth & family services (out-of-home care services) in the Canberra area.
This community service focuses on developing, collaborating, delivering & supporting high-quality outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Provide support, supervision, and development to the out-of-home care services, ensuring the delivery of positive outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis, client feedback, and evidence-based practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, funding bodies, and external service providers.
- Cultural Responsiveness: Ensure culturally safe practices are in place, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure that the risk and management policies and procedures are standard with the OOHC compliance standards.
Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Community Services field (Postgraduate qualification highly regarded).
- Significant experience in leadership within the child protection and/or family services sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs and teams, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Experience in the delivery of evidence-based programs and out-of-home care services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
