Manager – Adele House | Permanent Full-time | Coffs Harbour

Be Recruitment exclusively partners with the St Vincent de Paul Society for this exciting full-time leadership role in Coffs Harbour.

You will oversee the operations of a leading residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation service located on 900 acres. You will ensure exceptional standards of care and operational excellence, providing innovative leadership and inspiring a dedicated multidisciplinary team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive change and enhance the lives of individuals in recovery. The service caters for 40 males at one time, 18 years+ of age.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise staff within the AOD Programs, ensuring services align with NSW Clinical Care Standards, QIC Accreditation, and organisational policies.
  • Execute the Strategic Plan with a focus on outcome-driven improvements in service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS guidelines, safeguarding practices, and risk management systems.
  • Oversee the delivery of AOD core groups, therapeutic programs, health services, and vocational training through the Skills to Work program.
  • Collaborate with external services to ensure continuity of care and strong community partnerships.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage site operations in partnership with Facilities and Property teams, ensuring the smooth running of site maintenance and kitchen services.
  • Promote team development through supervision, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
What You’ll Need:
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Community Welfare, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in operations management and team leadership.
  • Expertise in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and mental health, with a background in evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources including health, mental health, legal assistance, employment services, and housing.
  • WHS knowledge and experience handling complex caseloads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data collection systems.
  • A NSW driver’s license (unencumbered).
