We are working with a NFP client based in Shepparton, Victoria who are seeking Case Managers to join their Family Violence team. This dynamic and collaborative team has roles available in two areas - supporting domestic violence victim survivors and working with domestic violence perpetrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk and needs assessments using the MARAM framework
  • Activate referral processes and develop relationships with local support services that are available in the community
  • Develop and implement case plans to support clients
  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of clients
  • Attend team meetings
  • Educate clients about their rights and responsibilities
  • Provide holistic case management and negotiate and implement a care plan in collaboration with the client
  • Maintain client and workplace confidentiality
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adjust personal style in response to client diversity and culture
  • Participate in program evaluations
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent relevant qualifications or a willingness to work towards an equivalent qualification set out in Mandatory Minimum Qualifications.
  • Experience: in conducting assessments, care planning, service coordination and case management
  • Knowledge of family violence, including an understand of MARAM and information sharing legislations.
  • An understanding of the social and gendered context of family violence
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
