Role:
Be Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to guide, influence, and develop Team Leaders, ensuring service quality, risk management, and compliance. The Coordinator supports the Regional Manager and ensures homes are operationally sound and provide a safe, engaging environment.
Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Develop caring, collaborative relationships to support young people's safety and wellbeing.
  • Training and Implementation: Commit to and implement the trauma-informed Sanctuary Model of care.
  • Collaboration: Work with Care Teams, families, and community services to achieve suitable permanent care options.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Engage in culturally safe practices for Aboriginal young people and their communities.
  • Advocacy: Ensure the young person's voice is central in all case planning considerations.
  • Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant legislation and standards.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in after-hours on-call duties with remuneration.
Essential Criteria
  • Experience: 5+ years in a quality, risk, or compliance role within an OOHC setting.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of community services, quality management systems, and the OOHC sector.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a team.
  • Business Acumen: Experience in developing compliance strategies and managing budgets.
  • Checks: Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and a willingness to be on the Residential Care Workers Register.
  • License: Current NSW Driver’s License and use of a fully insured car.
