Community Engagement Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community-focused strategies & programs to meet the evolving resident needs of both general residents and those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Foster partnerships with external organizations to enhance support services through education, health or other community events and programs
  • Collaborate with the operations teams to drive participation in initiatives, including health & wellbeing
  • Facilitate dialogue with residents and stakeholders.
  • Enhance outreach efforts through stakeholder engagement and feedback.
Essential Criteria:
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent*
  • 2-3+ years in relationship management or community engagement, such as case management, (casework) housing management, or similar
  • Experience in human services (preferred).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • NSW driver’s license, 2 COVID-19 vaccinations, and police check/WWCC.
