  • Full-time (Monday to Friday)
  • $73.00 to $77.63 per hour + Super + salary packaging up to $18,500
We are partnering with a highly regarded, values-driven organisation to recruit a Service Manager to lead a specialist youth mental health service focused on early psychosis and early intervention.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing service delivery, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving high-quality, recovery-oriented outcomes for young people and their families.

About the Role

You will provide operational and clinical leadership across a complex, community-based mental health service, ensuring safe, accessible, and evidence-based care aligned with best practice models.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will:
  • Lead and support Team Leaders and a multidisciplinary clinical workforce
  • Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement processes
  • Drive service performance, data integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Manage operational requirements including budget, workforce planning, and service delivery
  • Act as an escalation point for complex clinical and operational matters
  • Build strong partnerships across the broader mental health and community sector
This role sits within a youth-focused early intervention model, supporting young people experiencing or at risk of first episode psychosis, with a strong emphasis on recovery, family involvement, and system integration.

About You

You are an experienced clinician and leader who thrives in dynamic, evolving service environments.
You will bring:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, OT, Nursing or similar
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (AHPRA, AASW or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk, and quality frameworks
  • Experience in youth mental health, early intervention, or community mental health
  • Ability to influence, lead through change, and build high-performing teams
  • Confidence managing complex stakeholder relationships and service systems
